Yes. Guatemala signed the ICSID Convention on 9 November 1995, deposited its ratification on 21 January 2003, and the convention entered into force for the country on 20 February 2003. On 16 January 2003 it gave notice that it will require exhaustion of domestic administrative remedies as a condition of its consent to arbitration. The entry-into-force date and the notification were verified against document ICSID/8 in the audit of 2026-08-19.
