How to ask. Write to privacy@advanceguate.com or use the site's contact form with: the link to the page, which item you believe is wrong or want removed, and the source or the reason. If you represent an organisation, say so.
What we do.
- Official figure. We compare it with its source. If our copy differs from the source, we correct it. If the source changed it, we record the new version. No correction is silent: the previous value, the new one, the date and the reason are kept. We do not remove a correct official figure because someone dislikes it.
- Research material or answer. We check it against its citations and correct it, mark it as under review, or remove it.
- Directory. An organisation can ask us to correct or remove its details. We do so when the information is not what the organisation publishes, or when the organisation asks.
- News. An outlet can ask us to remove the headline or the link.
- Personal data. Handled under the privacy notice.
Time. We reply within 15 days. We keep a record of each request and of what was done.
