Villa Nueva as an industrial municipality: permits and IUSI
- Municipal intelligence for siting
- The country, department by department
- Audited
Villa Nueva is the industrial municipality par excellence: the city government reports 282 industrial plants (food, plastics, textiles, metalworking, chemicals, paints, paper, wood) and names as anchors Laboratorios Donovan Werke, INGASA and GALCASA, Pinturas Celco, Durman Esquivel, Coca-Cola/FEMSA and PepsiCo; it is at the same time a commuter municipality with strong retail and banking. Parks: the Consigna free zone (Granjas Italia) and the Unisur Industrial Park (km 20, Bárcenas); access via the CA-9 Sur, with its own municipal transit police. It has a physical Municipal One-Stop Window and an Electronic Municipal Window; the Urban Management office publishes online its regulations, forms and building-permit requirements by type (residential, commercial/industrial, subdivisions, earthworks, hoardings, poles/cabling), and the property tax (IUSI) account statement can even be checked over WhatsApp. In FUNDESA's 2025 Local Competitiveness Index (ICL) it ranks 5th in the country (72.21).
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
