Palín is the gateway to Escuintla from the capital (the Palín-Escuintla motorway), and its anchor is the Michatoya Pacífico ZDEEP and park: 23 companies and ~Q1,000 million invested as of June 2025, including the Korean textile firms Hansae (US$25 million) and ShinWon (US$12.5 million), with a 1,600-hectare master plan. The Prensa Libre article places the park in Escuintla and ShinWon's existing factory in Palín; the exact location of the ZDEEP polygon relative to the original park is contradiction #17 in the 00-INDEX. Full profile in dossier 07 §4.1.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
