In June 2026 16 airlines were operating (13 in 2023) and destinations went from a little over 30 cities to close to 40, according to the civil aviation authority (DGAC) cited by Prensa Libre; operations at La Aurora rose from 33,236 (2023) to 34,892 (2025), ≈+5%. Recent routes: Wingo GUA–Bogotá (Oct 29, 2025), Frontier GUA–Houston (Dec 18, 2025), Avianca GUA–San Francisco (Jun 4, 2026), Frontier GUA–Orlando (Jun 11, 2026) and Wingo GUA–Medellín (Jun 25, 2026). Air Canada flew to Montreal for the first time on Oct 3, 2025 (seasonally) and from July 2026 the route is permanent: 4 flights a week Nov–Apr and 3 a week May–Oct on a B787-8; it announced a weekly year-round Toronto service on an A321neo from December 2026.
