Anacafé

The chain has ~125,000 producing families (Anacafé) and exports intermediated by global houses that already run local subsidiaries: Volcafe = Peter Schoenfeld, S.A. (zone 16, Paseo Cayalá; sourcing, milling, export, quality laboratory, ~5,500 growers in Huehuetenango, Santa Rosa, Antigua and Cubulco, verified); NKG = Sertinsa; ECOM = Exportcafé; and the independents Unex Guatemala and Cafcom (with its own dry mill). The typical entry is to acquire or partner with an exporter-mill, not with farms. The figure of '210 municipalities with coffee' does not appear in the 2022 CABI study (Anacafé publishes 204 and 261, depending on the document).
