Electrification rates: Nicaragua 99.6% (2024), Costa Rica 99.4% (2023), Dominican Republic 98.9%, El Salvador 95.1% (2024), Guatemala 90.4% (2023), Honduras 88.2% (2024). Guatemala sells the ‘renewable grid’ narrative, but in the regional data it is fourth of six and its coverage is above only Honduras.
