Can I issue commercial paper or bonds on the Guatemalan exchange? Is there an equity market?

The BVN's private primary market, commercial paper from banks, finance companies and lessors such as PBICREDIT at 4.00-4.75%, G&T's BBEGYTCQ at 7.50-7.85%, PTCUSCATLANQ1 at 8.33% and PLAFISE, was barely 0.2% of July 2025 volume;… shares are effectively not traded (Q5.8 million in the month). There is no meaningful public equity market: share capital is raised privately. Even so, the amounts outstanding of private-issuer securities grew 31% between January and July 2024 (Prensa Libre/BVN), and the BVN publishes the full prospectus of every issue (for example Banco Credicorp's quetzal commercial paper, APCREDICORPQ1, and the BAC + Positivo bonds, SOSTENIBAC) for diligence on issuers.
