In June 2025 Prensa Libre reported two Korean textile anchors at Michatoya Pacífico: Hansae, with US$25 M, 500,000 m² and 8,000–10,000 direct jobs, starting in 2026; and ShinWon, with US$12.5 M, 250,000 m² and 4,000 jobs. The master plan's total projection is 90,000 jobs over some 15 years.
