Guatemala Logistics Performance Index, overall score (scale 1 to 5)
2.6
2022World BankThis entry does not document sea-freight rates or transit times from Guatemala to Miami, Los Angeles, Rotterdam or Shanghai (see the caveat). As a related public indicator, which measures connection to shipping networks rather than prices, the UNCTADstat Data Centre offers the Liner Shipping Connectivity Index (LSCI) as monthly and quarterly series, updated on Jun 23, 2026. According to the World Bank's metadata glossary, the index is computed by UNCTAD, has been published as a quarterly series since 2020, and its annual values equal those of the first quarter. UNCTADstat's maritime profile of Guatemala presents the LSCI on an 'Average Q1 2023=100' base. For official port statistics, the reports page of the National Port Commission (CPN) lists its 'IEP' reports for 2019 to 2024; the 2025 Port Statistical Report, published on the CPN website, presents the annual statistics of Guatemala's port system, with cargo in metric tonnes, containers in units and TEU, and ship calls, and refers users to the Port Statistics Platform (PEP) for further data queries. For the Logistics Performance Index, the World Bank API (scale 1 to 5) returns Guatemala values for 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2022; the latest is 2.6, for 2022.
