The Sociedad Anónima (S.A.) is the dominant corporate vehicle, governed by the Commercial Code (Decree 2-70, 1970), which also provides for the limited liability company and the branch of a foreign company. According to a secondary guide, the current minimum paid-in capital is Q200 (article 90, as amended by Decree 18-2017, in force since October 2017); the figure of Q5,000 belongs to the previous regime. Both the number of the amending decree and the article are flagged for confirmation against the official text. Actual registration times at the Commercial Registry were not obtained in consolidated form.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
