Yes. According to the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), an ePhyto is the electronic equivalent of a phytosanitary certificate in XML format, produced in accordance with ISPM 12 (including its Appendix 1); the IPPC ePhyto Solution combines a central server (Hub), a web-based Generic ePhyto National System (GeNS) for countries without their own system, and a harmonized format. In its note of Jul 20, 2022 the IPPC reported that Guatemala began exchanging ePhytos in August 2021 through the PIPAA programme, using GeNS for fresh fruits and vegetables, plants and seeds; that 95 percent of its certificate exchanges in the first half of 2022 were ePhytos; that it was exchanging ePhytos with 30 countries; and that it had begun exchanges with the European Union's TRACES system. An Argentine freight forwarder announced ePhyto with Guatemala from 3 October 2022.
