~1,800
Jul 2024RRHHNestlé says it has invested ‘more than US$85 million over the last 5 years’ in Guatemala (as of July 2024), with some 1,800 employees, more than 700 local suppliers, a distribution center it describes as the largest in the region, head offices and Central America's first Nestlé Cultural Center; the note is based on a corporate release and should be treated as a promotional claim. A Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence Center costing more than US$5 million had construction scheduled for completion in January 2025, with some 1,500 indirect jobs on site.
