Since when is the Guatemala–Peru FTA in force?

The Guatemala–Peru FTA was signed on 6 December 2011 in Guatemala; a complementary protocol was signed on 23 April 2025 in Lima. Both entered into force on Jul 1, 2026, fourteen years after signature. Peru ratified them through D.S. 023-2026-RE (published May 29, 2026) and formalized their entry into force through D.S. 007-2026-MINCETUR, published Jun 24, 2026, 23 June was previously recorded. The Parties agreed the date after exchanging notifications under the 60-day rule. It is the newest agreement in force for Guatemala.
