In 2023 Guatemala's main exports to the European Union were edible fats and oils at US$694.5 million (48.7 % of a US$1,426.5 million total), coffee US$211.2 million (14.8 %), bananas US$93.1 million, sugar US$78.0 million and beverages, spirits and vinegar US$75.6 million, according to MINECO's 2024 profile of the Central America–EU Association Agreement, with Banco de Guatemala data. Almost half of the value exported to the EU is a single item, fats and oils; the profile also notes coffee fell 10 % from 2022 to 2023.
