Banco Promerica Guatemala (Grupo Promerica, regional) reports financial-group assets of more than Q34,165 million (+3.9%) and a loan book of Q25,383 million at the close of 2025 — the bank's own claim, to be checked against the SIB; it received a US$100 million line from the BCIE in November 2025. Banco Ficohsa Guatemala (Grupo Ficohsa, Honduras) has a confirmed presence and publishes a 2026 schedule of lending rates. The full official list of authorized banks is on the Banguat site (Bancos Nacionales) and an independent sector analysis is available from PCR (Pacific Credit Rating). Individual assets for Ficohsa and BAC Guatemala were not extracted (the SIB serves them through a dynamic query).

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
