The fiscal deficit accumulated from January to August 2025 was 0.7% of GDP (Q7,068.5 million), according to the report of the Fiscal Analysis and Policy Directorate (DAF) of the Ministry of Public Finance (Minfin) as of 31 Aug 2025. The budget approved for 2025 provided for a deficit of 3.1% of GDP (ICEFI). The full-year 2025 closing deficit is in Minfin's Annual Report (May 2026), whose PDF blocked the automated download — the figure remains outstanding.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
