The fiscal deficit accumulated from January to August 2025 was 0.7% of GDP (Q7,068.5 million), according to the report of the Fiscal Analysis and Policy Directorate (DAF) of the Ministry of Public Finance (Minfin) as of 31 Aug 2025. The budget approved for 2025 provided for a deficit of 3.1% of GDP (ICEFI). The full-year 2025 closing deficit is in Minfin's Annual Report (May 2026), whose PDF blocked the automated download — the figure remains outstanding.
