The economy grew 4.3% in 2025, above the 4.1% Moody's had estimated; the 2004-2024 average was 3.6% a year and Fitch estimated 3.7% for 2024. The World Bank projects stabilization at 3.7–3.8% over the medium term and cites access to health care, the quality of education and reliance on low-value-added sectors as structural challenges. The IMF's official projections (2025 Article IV, PR 25/289, Sep 2025) were not retrieved because the site blocked the fetch.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
