Pro Guatemala is the National and Foreign Investment Attraction Agency, created by MINECO through Ministerial Agreement 295-2024 and announced at the hundred-day mark of the Arévalo government in 2024. Its purpose is to coordinate institutional FDI attraction efforts and to accompany the investor through the whole investment cycle. In 2025 it reported a pipeline of 31 interested foreign companies (a press figure). Sites: proguatemala.gob.gt and proguatemala.mineco.gob.gt; the latter did not resolve in DNS on 2026-08-19, so the current domain remains to be confirmed. The official text of Ministerial Agreement 295-2024 was not located in the official gazette (Diario de Centro América), and the name of its head was not identified.
