The National Strategy for Attracting Foreign Direct Investment, launched by the Ministry of the Economy (MINECO), prioritizes eleven markets: the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom; the list was confirmed on the MINECO website during the 2026-08-19 audit. Within the strategy there is a sector initiative, Ruta del Chip (the Chip Route), aimed at semiconductors in cooperation with Taiwan, which held an implementation seminar organized by MINECO. The dossier records neither a launch date for the strategy nor any amounts attached to the Ruta del Chip.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
