Guatemala (the Quetzal + Santo Tomás + Barrios system) moved 1,119,626 TEU in 2025 (CPN, verified in dossier 06). Costa Rica — APM Terminals Moín: 1,320,000 TEU in 2024 and 37 million tonnes, about 19 vessels a week (branded content, to be checked against JAPDEVA). Honduras — Puerto Cortés (OPC/ICTSI): 2024 TEU not found in a primary source; references give 675,000 TEU (2019), capacity of 1 M TEU a year and more than 5.8 M TEU cumulative over the concession (the draft's figures of ‘748,000 / 559,000’ were withdrawn). Dominican Republic — DP World Caucedo: 1.7 M TEU in 2024, capacity 2.25 M TEU, more than US$800 M invested, a transhipment hub with an integrated free zone. Mexico — Manzanillo: 3,326,000 TEU in 2024 (+12.6%); the Mexican system moved 9,375,570 TEU (+12%). El Salvador (Acajutla) announced a pier in 2026 to triple capacity; TEU figures for Acajutla and Corinto (Nicaragua) were not found. Guatemala has fragmented ports and no global operator on the scale of Caucedo or Manzanillo.
