The OECD certificate for the La Lima and Coyol free zones

On 4 June 2025 the La Lima and Coyol free zones became the first in Latin America (and the second in the world) to receive the OECD certificate of security and transparency for free zones — a standard against illicit trade (registration, inventory control, reporting of data to the authorities), not a tax certification and not related to Pillar 2, according to COMEX statement CP-3050.
