Official FDI series by country and economic activity

Banguat publishes FDI inflows by country of origin and by ISIC Rev. 4 (CIIU 4) economic activity from 2008 on a page with annual sections for 2013–2026, from which the xlsx files hang (the direct links are still to be confirmed in the data phase). The atlas already holds the totals on file (fdi_net_flow_usd, fdi_inward_stock_usd) and proposes adding series by origin and by activity, the official projection for the current year (cited in the press as more than US$2,065 million for 2026, document still to be located), a qualitative register of investment announcements (company, amount, municipality, jobs, source) drawn from Invest Guatemala / MINECO-VUI and verified press, the status of emblematic mining licenses (Escobal, Fénix) from the MEM cadastre, and the FDI position by country via Banguat or UNCTAD. The investinguatemala.org domain tested does not belong to the agency.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.
