Banguat breaks the 2025 FDI inflow (preliminary, US$1,881.7 million) down by country of origin. Central America and the Dominican Republic lead with US$455.2 million (24.2%), followed by Colombia with US$398.1 million (21.2%), the United States with US$325.3 million (17.3%) and Mexico with US$231.0 million (12.3%). Then come the Netherlands (US$111.7 M, 5.9%), Luxembourg (US$109.2 M, 5.8%), Spain (US$53.3 M, 2.8%), South Korea (US$48.6 M, 2.6%), Germany (US$17.8 M, 0.9%), Sweden (US$13.9 M, 0.7%) and Italy (US$0.4 M, 0.0%); the ‘other countries’ category adds up to US$117.2 million (6.2%). The percentages are calculated on the total of the same table, and the breakdown was verified against Banguat's PDF in the audit of 19 August 2026.
