On 18 November 2022 OFAC (the US Treasury) designated CGN and ProNiCo, subsidiaries of Solway, under the Global Magnitsky program, along with Mayaníquel and two individuals, over corruption allegations; the statement was headed ‘Treasury Targets Russian-Backed Corruption in Guatemala Mining Sector’. The designation affected the Fénix operation. The source is primary (OFAC Recent Actions) and was corrected in verification: the dossier previously cited only Wikipedia.
