CGN and ProNiCo's removal from the OFAC SDN list
- The record of foreign investment: real cases
- Foreign investment, in figures
- Audited
CGN and ProNiCo no longer appear on OFAC's SDN list: a search for the term ‘niquel’ in the official search tool, with the list as of 18 August 2026, does not return them, which corroborates the removal Solway claims. The exact date and the delisting notice, however, have not been located on ofac.treasury.gov, so the atlas cannot state when the sanctions were lifted. This point was corrected in verification: the earlier version reproduced Solway's claim without a citation.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
