The network of agreements in force, administered by the Foreign Trade Administration Directorate (DACE) of MINECO, covers CAFTA-DR (the United States, Central America and the Dominican Republic), the Association Agreement with the European Union, the single Central America–Mexico FTA, and FTAs with Taiwan, Colombia (Northern Triangle), Chile, the Dominican Republic, Panama, the United Kingdom (post-Brexit continuity), Israel (in force since 1 March 2024) and Peru (in force since 1 July 2026). To these are added partial-scope agreements with Belize, Cuba, Ecuador and Venezuela, Central American economic integration and investment agreements. The Korea–Central America FTA has been ratified by Guatemala (Decree 18-2025) but is NOT in force as of August 2026: the protocol does not yet have effect for Guatemala. The signature and entry-into-force dates of the FTAs with Taiwan, Colombia, Panama and the Dominican Republic are not published on MINECO's pages and remain to be verified.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
