On the import side, the AACUE sets 2024 quotas of 930 t for cheese (67.0% utilization in 2023), 620 t for milk powder (26.3%), 1,395 t for cured hams and bacon (6.1%) and 1,395 t for prepared pork (1.8%). Only the cheese quota is taken up to any significant degree; European meat products come in well below the allocation.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
