The regulation of Book I (ISR) of the Tax Update Act (Acuerdo Gubernativo 213-2013, art. 24) lets taxpayers apply, under the straight-line method, depreciation percentages lower than the maxima of art. 28 of the Act (Decreto 10-2012) when they judge it better suited to the assets' conditions of use; the percentage adopted must be recorded in the books and, once adopted, cannot be changed. The maximum percentages by asset class sit in art. 28 of Decreto 10-2012, read in chunk 03-isr-depreciacion-porcentajes-maximos-art-28 (buildings 5 %, machinery and vehicles 20 %, computers 33.33 %, other movables 10 %).

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
