Governmental Accord 256-2025 (published 22 Dec 2025, in force 1 Jan 2026), export and maquila activity: CE1 (department of Guatemala) Q112.10 a day, Q3,409.73 monthly base, plus the Q250 incentive bonus = Q3,659.73; CE2 (rest of the country) Q105.90 a day, Q3,221.10 base, plus Q250 = Q3,471.10. Maquila is the activity with the lowest minimum: non-agricultural CE1 is Q4,002.28 base. In the 2026-08-22 audit the two guides consulted agreed on all six figures and on the publication date; the labor ministry (MINTRAB) portal returned a 403, so the cross-check against the accord in the official gazette (Diario de Centro América) remains pending.
