According to a Soy502 report of 30 April 2024, five free zones are operating, all privately administered, with 128 user companies and more than 3,000 jobs. The 128 companies fall into 10 categories: manufacturing 43, chemicals/pharmaceuticals 23, textiles/apparel 22, agriculture 10, among others. These figures were verified against Soy502 in the audit of 2026-08-19. There is no official public listing from the Ministry of the Economy (MINECO) of the resolutions in force; the only count available is the press one.
