The Guatemala–Honduras customs union (the Deep Integration process, ratified by Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador) runs three integrated land customs posts: Agua Caliente, El Florido and Corinto. The single instrument is the FYDUCA (Central American Single Invoice and Declaration), mandatory since 1 March 2018 for GT-HN trade; around 80% of products enjoy free circulation. The World Bank documented that the crossing went 'from 10 hours to 15 minutes'. In December 2023 the opening of the El Amatillo Integrated Border Post (HN-SV) extended trilateral GT-HN-SV facilitation.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

Caveat

the ~80% free-circulation figure comes in part from a private customs agency; still to be confirmed with SIECA

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
