Mundo Maya International Airport (FRS, Flores, Petén) is the country's second airport, with scheduled flights to Guatemala, Belize and Mexico and charter/seasonal services from the United States (a description taken from Wikipedia, still to be verified). It went from 284,365 passengers in 2023 to 390,584 in 2025 (+37.3%), with eight daily flights (3 by Aviateca, 5 by TAG Airlines), according to the Diario de Centro América. Between 1 January and 25 April 2024 it handled 116,962 passengers (+26.2% year on year), according to AGN.
