Decree 29-2024, the Priority Road Infrastructure Law, was approved on 12 November 2024 by 118 votes (verified in audit) and gives priority to 10 Central American (CA) routes and one ring road. The 'Vía Exprés' PPP, part of Decree 29-2024, appears in ANADIE's pipeline. The CIV's pipeline totals 143 projects covering 2,761.76 km of works, of which 64 are under way covering 1,308.66 km (Diario de Centro América). The official mileage of the registered road network could not be obtained: the Directorate General of Roads page returned a 403 error.
