Passenger traffic at La Aurora international airport

In 2024 La Aurora (GUA) recorded around 2.4 million passenger arrivals and more than 2 million departures, according to Revista E&N citing migration/DGAC data. For 2025 totals of 2,573,651 arrivals and 2,555,884 departures circulate (more than 5.1 million, a record, +187,385 arrivals year on year), but the audit established that those figures do NOT appear in the Infobae article to which they were attributed: the article only mentions more than 206 thousand arrivals between March and April 2025. They remain to be verified against the DGAC statistics unit, which publishes monthly series.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.
