APM Terminals states an annual capacity of 340,000 TEU and describes the terminal as 'the largest facility between the port of Lázaro Cárdenas (Mexico) and the Panama Canal on the Central American west coast' — a corporate claim still to be verified. According to Soy502, APM handles more than 200,000 TEU a year, close to 60% of EPQ's container operation and around 52% of the country's maritime trade; EPQ's own facilities have a maximum capacity of ~130,000 TEU. The terminal's official draft, quay length and STS cranes were not obtained.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
