Generation mix by technology, 2026 months (AMM monthly market analysis, text)
- Energy, water and telecommunications
- The power market and its tariffs
- Audited
The AMM publishes no generation-by-technology table, but its monthly market analysis describes it in prose. As the captured articles print it: January 2026 — hydro 34.3 %, biomass 26.6 %, coal/petcoke 15.6 %, coal 8.3 %, solar 5.8 %, wind 4.4 %; February 2026 — hydro 29.8 %, biomass 27.3 %, coal/petcoke 15.2 %, coal 11.4 %, solar 6.7 %, wind 4.0 %, bunker 2.5 %, steam 2.1 %, natural gas 0.8 %; May 2026 — coal 28.0 %, hydro 24.8 %, bunker 19.5 %, coal/petcoke 9.7 %, solar 7.1 %, biomass 6.4 %, steam 1.9 %, wind 1.1 %, natural gas 1.1 %; July 2026 — hydro 32.6 %, coal 31.4 %, coal/petcoke 14.8 %, solar 8.5 %, bunker 6.5 %, wind 3.3 %, steam 1.6 %, natural gas 1.0 %. The seasonality is the country's: biomass (bagasse) dominates the January–March harvest, coal and bunker cover the April–May dry season and hydro returns with the rains; solar rose from 64.9 GWh in January to 114.6 GWh in July. Only the hydro share is a series in the verified store (energy_gen_share_hydro_pct); the other technologies are quoted as the AMM writes them, because the article names only technologies above ~1 % and splits 'coal' from 'coal/petcoke' inconsistently.
The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
