The Industrial Property Law (Decree 57-2000) covers trademarks and distinctive signs, invention patents, utility models, industrial designs, trade secrets and unfair competition. The Copyright and Related Rights Law (Decree 33-98) protects authors, performers, phonogram producers and broadcasters. The registry authority is the Intellectual Property Registry (RPI), attached to MINECO. The dossier carries no registration times or fees; it proposes tracking trademark and patent applications through WIPO IP Statistics.
