The Labor Code (Decree 1441, 1961) applies to every employer and its rights cannot be waived. On top of that framework come the monthly employer payroll charges (IGSS, IRTRA, INTECAP), the aguinaldo, Bono 14, the incentive bonus and severance for dismissal without just cause, each covered in its own chunk. Minimum wages by circumscription and activity are not repeated in this dossier: the atlas archive keeps them as 27 `minimum_wage_*` series.

The research is written in English; quoted figures, source names and the titles of legal instruments stay in the language their source published them in.

This layer is research: read from public sources by the archive's own team, every claim cited with the date it was consulted, and audited where it is marked so. It has not entered the verified store — no figure here was fetched back from its source or stamped with a retrieval time — so it wears no red provenance numeral and never mixes with the verified figures.
